ThaiBev: Empowering Thai society through sporting excellence
A veteran of 15 years when it comes to supporting the SGX Cares Bull Charge fundraising initiatives, and even longer when lending a helping hand to the Thai community, ThaiBev’s participation in this year’s Virtual Charity Run is no surprise.
Since its listing on the Singapore Exchange in 2006, ThaiBev has been unwavering in supporting the SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run.
ThaiBev is excited to join hands with SGX in bringing together the financial community and listed companies that seek to empower society and the underprivileged in Singapore, as an extension of what it has always done in Thailand.

Developing young athletes across a variety of sports
“Give opportunities through sport, create values with sportsmanship” is the mantra that ThaiBev lives by to give back to society in sustainable ways. ThaiBev has spearheaded several programs that have made significant contributions to building strong physical and mental health among young athletes, creating opportunities for aspiring sportspeople, and building a growing sports network in Thailand.
The ThaiBev ThaiTalent Program focuses on youth development across various sports including football, golf, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, Thai boxing, and figure skating. Its ThaiBev Football Academy, the largest football training centre in Bangkok, offers free football skills training for youths aged 6 to 18 years old. Other initiatives to support the football community are the Chang Mobile Football Clinic and Chang Football Community which provide opportunities for sporting excellence to youths in remote areas of Thailand.

Through ThaiBev’s partnership with Leicester City Football Club, ThaiBev brings youth footballers who have won the “Chang Junior Cup” Under-13 football competition to practice with Leicester City F.C. in England for 10 days, gaining techniques to realise their potential. Youth footballers return with invaluable experience and the skills to take Thailand’s football industry to the next level.

Supporting national sporting ventures in Thailand
ThaiBev’s Chang Beer launched “Len Mai Lerk” to cheer on the Thai national football team.

In 2019, Chang Beer launched “Len Mai Lerk” (We Will Never Stop Fighting), a campaign to cheer on the Thailand national football team in their journey to the 2022 World Cup.
ThaiBev has also supported the Thai Volleyball Association for over 30 years, helping the association implement a structured development plan for its volleyball players to reach greater heights on a national and global scale.
